Here’s the heads up folks… Flicks NZ has gone live this morning. As we said in our preview it is FREE so go grab your copy now. Remember this is version 1.0 that has dropped, version 1.01 which fixes the couple of bugs we found has been submitted so shouldn’t be too far away.
[UPDATE] Version 1.0.1 has hit the AppStore as promised.

Flicks NZ (bought to you courtesy of flicks.co.nz) lets you browse movies that are showing now or coming up soon at the cinema. You can do a heap with this app including view session times, read reviews, search by various strings including actor/director/theatre or movie and best of all you can also watch trailers.

I have to agree, the quality of local based apps gets better and better all the time. Anyone going to make a sky tv based one anytime soon, like they have in the UK?
