Great, been looking forward to this. In fact I was just looking last night to see if there was any sign of it being released.
Any ideas on availability of the TomTom iPhone holder? Expansys seem to be the only ones stocking it on pre order at the moment.

Any word about when the hardware will be available?

Not yet, I have spoken with MagnumMac this morning and they are going to let us know as soon as they can.

See my Forum post.
Been on a run already this morning and so far only one problem where the maps were out of date.
I bought the DLO vent mount for the meantime until the other mount become available.
So far I like

@raab
Don’t quite get you there. Don’t they charge the same GST percentage for both maps, considering the fact that you buy them within New Zealand?

I'm happy to see that we can also purchase the North American, Australian, and European versions (hopefully we get the options for the rest of the world too as they're released) it's nice to see TomTom recognise that people travel out of their own country.
I'm holding out for the mount because it looks like it would serve my needs perfectly.
We're the first to have it released in the App store, maybe just because we're on the 15th while everyone else in the world is stuck in yesterday.

Interesting pricing.
Assuming one uses BOTH the NZ and OZ maps then the cost would be $225, compared with $89 for Sygic (which has NZ and OZ maps included)
For many that may not be a deal breaker (as only want NZ maps) but for those that want both and travel to OZ lots that's a big difference.

Why do we pay more for NZ maps compared to Australia?
Is it GST that pushes our price up?
