Apple subliminally tell you your non-Apple smartphone is dull, miserable
We couldn’t help but notice that in Apple’s new antenna information / support page, every photo of the hand holding an iPhone is bathed in a background of golden, glowing colours that evoke warmth and comfort… and every photo of the hand holding a non-Apple phone has a grey, drab, miserable background that will have you reaching for the Prozac. iPhone 4 Antenna Video
Ok so I wasn’t going to post this, and I am sure a lot of you have seen it by now, but I really like it. Also as a point of discussion, do you think this was commissioned by Apple in some way? After all they did just use it in their press conference, and it kinda rings true to what Apple have offered?

So you want to know exactly what Apple have to say about the Antenna issue? Well, Apple have kindly posted a page with details and videos of the problem for all to see. With comparisons of other device such as the 3GS, Droid Eris, Samsung Omnia II and the Blackberry Bold 9700, I have to say you can clearly see the issue affects other phones as well.

iPhone launch date set for New Zealand….30th July!
Finally after much waiting and much speculation, we finally have a confirmed launch date for the iPhone 4. 30/07/10 is the date for launch, put it in your diary, we have and we’ll be at MagnumMac in Christchurch on the day.
Currently no pricing or pre-order dates… but keep an eye on the Apple Store, you never know what they may do.
