According to an article in the New Zealand Herald, Orcon have launched their mobile service (a Vodafone-powered MVNO) and will be shipping MicroSIMs shortly, however in the meantime they’re happy to cut their existing SIMs down to size for you, negating the need for an expensive SIM-cutter or the risk involved with DIY methods.
