iPad confirmed at MagnumMac Christchurch
In case there was any doubt that MagnumMac were going to have the iPad, I guess you could say what you are about to see is 100% confirmation that the Christchurch store will have the iPad tomorrow morning. With less than 24 hours until the New Zealand launch of arguably the most highly anticipated piece of gadgetry since the iPhone, we still have no sign of any retailers putting their hands up and actually confirming that they’ll be stocking it and how many they’ve got. Not sure if this has come to anyone’s attention but it has just been pointed out to us that Vodafone are offering a Free* MicroSIM for iPad users….. One catch with the SIM though is that it can only be used with the iPad.

One of our most active users, Camtab, has spotted some possible new Vodafone data plans while using the site today. Camtab says he was in the ‘my add on’ section of the site and saw two new plans which were both greyed out. Luckily, he managed to screen grab them and send them our way! UPDATE: We can confirm that the new plans are in fact data plans for the iPad and they are available from Friday 23rd. Full press release after the break.
