Read MoreiPhone 4: Antennagate in New Zealand [video]
When the iPhone 4 was announced I (like pretty much everyone else) couldn’t wait to get my hands on one, until one day the news hit that there was an issue with the antenna. I’ll admit I was worried, what would i do now? Would this affect me? And then after reading about it for months and seeing Steve Jobs’ response I settled down and decide it probably wasn’t going to be an issue. I won’t go into all the details of AntennaGate but just in case you’ve been on holiday to the moon or mars for the past few months and haven’t heard about it then have a read here.
I thought I’d show you how the antenna issue may affect you if you are here in New Zealand (well, Christchurch anyway). Hit the ‘read more’ for the video of the ‘Death Grip’ in action.…

Read MoreApple Dock for iPhone 4 [video]
When I got my first iPhone one of the things I loved is that it came with a dock. iPhone sat there all shiny and cool looking. Unfortunately the 3G and 3GS didn’t come with one, so the first accessory I bought was the dock. However I found that I never really used the dock as I had a case and would have to take it out to be able to use it (I didn’t use a case for my 1st gen).
So now I have an iPhone 4 and after seeing all the images and videos of it I decided that I wouldn’t be using a case (or did I) so I got myself the iPhone 4 dock.
Hit the read more for some pics and a video of the dock and my thoughts.…

Read MoreAccessory reviews: iPad and iPhone 4 cases from chillicase.co.nz
Ever felt like your iPhone or iPad (or both) are so ‘precious’ that you handle them with un-due fear, dread friends picking them up, fret about which surfaces you put them down on or worry about them becoming scratched or chipped? If so, it’s probably time to think about a case. Until recently, buying a fitted / molded case for your iOS device has meant choosing between silicone or polycarbonate plastic – but both have their disadvantages. Now, there is a new material that promises the advantages of both, with the disadvantages of neither: jelly polymer. Never heard of it? Well, it just so happens that New Zealand’s own chillicase.co.nz has an amazing array of these cases available in heaps of colours and styles, so we thought we’d check them out.…
