iPhonewzealand New Releases
When we started the site last year we wanted to review as many New Zealand based apps as we could. Although we have tried our best to keep on top of reviewing and letting you know about new apps that are available on the App Store that are relevant to New Zealand or created by New Zealanders it has now become very difficult to keep up with due to the sheer numbers of awesome kiwi apps that are being added. Because of this we have created a new category on the site, ‘New Releases’. Continue reading to see how this will work.
Our ‘New Releases’ section will be for apps that have a New Zealand focus, created by New Zealanders or we think will be useful to New Zealanders.
The posts themselves are there for a heads-up only, and are a quick way for us to let you know of a new release and so the content of the post will just be the description from iTunes, the price and a link through to iTunes. These posts aren’t reviews.

New Releases in the sidebar
They won’t show up on the home page either , we have decided we didn’t want to litter it with loads of posts that are essentially just links, instead you will see the latest three new releases towards the top of the sidebar. Clicking on the image or title will take you through to the post and clicking the ‘New Releases’ title will take you to a list of all of them. They will also be tweeted and added to our Facebook page and you can add the category to your RSS feeds.
And lastly, this doesn’t mean we’re stopping the reviews. We love reviewing apps and we will still review the ones that are in the new release section (although not all of them) and when we do we’ll update the new release post with the link.
You may find some going in the list that have been out for a few days already, we just thought we’d do a bit of a catch-up with some that have come out recently. Also if you are a developer let us know when your app hits the Store and we’ll add a link. So there you have it: a new way for us to tell you about new apps when they hit the store. Tell us what you think in the comments below.
– New Releases

Nice idea guys. It will be a great way to jeopardy up with all the new apps. One to add, the TV3 app from Moa Creative.
