It’s always really nice when a developer releases a nice, clean app that is also genuinely useful and Bjango’s Consume is a great example of this. Intrigued by the icon? Read on for more!
What exactly is Consume? It’s not a food app as the icon and name suggest but a data usage meter for so many different accounts for many different countries. In fact there are so many, I am just going to cover the ones for New Zealand.
Under the Mobile Phone heading there is
2Degrees (Prepaid)
Vodafone NZ (Postpaid)
Vodafone NZ (Prepaid)
The ISPs supported are:
Inspire Net
Slingshot
Snap (Prepaid)
Telecom
TelstraClear
Xnet
It also supports,
Fly Buys, Subway Subcard and Fastway package tracking.
After closing the settings page, you can see the accounts you added and the usage for each.

Landscape View
There are two views, landscape and portrait, landscape mode will show you an overview of all your accounts. Unfortunately I don’t have that many accounts but you get the idea.
The settings page is where you add your accounts, change information for each account, and change audio settings.
These two pictures are a list of the countries you can set accounts for.
All in all Consume is a very useful app. Much easier than having to log onto the websites of most of these companies.
It costs $2.59 from the app store.
I am a big fan of Bjango’s apps, they are very well set out, and have very clean interfaces. I am going to review a few more of their apps in the future.

Nice review Allan! Looks like a really useful app!

The recipe concept is great for online updates.
Also supports AirNZ Airpoints, Qantas FF and Velocity Rewards for Pacific Blue.
I have provided details for Snapper, AA Rewards, MetroInfo and Onecard, so hopefully will see if these appear soon.
Bjango (and iSlayer) have well thoughtout designs and are focused upon customer feedback.
