Ok im gonna cop a bit of flack for this.
Firstly, Thank you Geko for supply give aways to iPhonewzealand.
Now… I have tried a few Geko products over the years and have found that they dont meet my requirements. Im a bit of a geek in that i like my devices to remain in perfect condition until i replace them a year later…. and Geko products haven’t been able to make the grade.
I managed to convince our IT team here at work that we needed to get away from the blackberry and move all our staff to iPhones; awesome. IT decided that our phones needed protecting and bought a crap load of Geko cases. Dust got into the cases and scratched the phones rear shells up nice and proper.
A couple of guys here got the hardshell versions, and they broke so easily from day to day bumps.
I have tried the hardshell and one that was some sort of silicon. The hardshell cracked within the first couple of weeks, i replaced it with the soft one and now i have scratches ground into the back of my 3GS.
My suggestion to people, if you can manage to get them on properly, use the zagg shields. You can get them on trademe.
Sorry guys, but you asked for feedback on the product

Fair enough Rick — I would say, though, that the fact that the back of the iPhone 3GS was prone to scratches from dust is more a fault of the iPhone itself rather than the case. No case in the world is going to stop dust getting in. The iPhone 4 won’t suffer from the same issue, though, as its back is made of glass which isn’t going to get scratched by dust.

Well if I ever learn how to use twitter I shall be sure to enter.
Now, these new iphones are an investment, at one of the most expensive phones on the market. ( So worth it though )
What brands / types of cases would you recommend for them. On my 3g and 3gs I was able to purchase some really nice solid cases that protected it from almost anything. Though the iphone 4 case market i don’t think is quite open to its full potential.
What stores / websites currently have decent cases going for the iphone 4?

I have the 'swag bag' for the iPad and I'm pretty pleased with it except for one nagging annoyance. The elastic corners block the power switch and the anti rotation switch. Only minor issues but bloody annoying non the less.
But, as I said, I'm overall happy with it. I particularly like the way the cover folds underneath to allow me to use the iPad at an angle.
