Hi Dan, I am also getting an iPad shipped to some friends in the states who will then ship it down to me. What shipping company are you going to use? And, also, do you have any idea as to how much it will cost?

Has anyone else heard this before…It came from an openning statmenet to a Stuff article online

"Apple has begun accepting iPad apps for review and approval before the device launches in the US on April 3, several weeks ahead of Australia, which gets the device "late April". (New Zealand should get the device at about the same time, but this is yet to be officially confirmed)."

New Zealand should get the device at about the same time??..Since when? Is this likely?

I am not a patient man Have reserved mine at an Apple Store and have a mate who will pick it up for me on April 3rd and either ship it, or another mate who works for Air NZ will bring it depending on their schedule can’t wait!

As much as I love to be an early adapter of cool gadgets, I think I’ll wait until the NZ release of the 64GB 3G model before I invest. I’m also mindful of the possibility of a July release of a new iPhone and mine will be two years old then and ready for upgrade. I look forward to reading your review.
