If you love the way you control your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch (or MacBook), and you own a desktop Mac then you may well be interested in Apple’s new Magic Trackpad, launched without much fanfare overnight and available immediately at $119. The trackpad is designed to sit alongside your Apple keyboard and uses multi-touch gestures such as swiping and rotating to control what’s going on on your Mac. This is a great alternative to the Magic Mouse for those who love the idea of inertia scrolling but can’t get used to the feel of the mouse.
