Hi, does anyone know if Vodafone or anyother stores will sell the iPhone 4 on Friday, or will they have to be ordered on the Apple site? Also does anyone have a good link to someone showing how to cut a normal Sim into a Micro Sim, or a good place to buy a Micro Sim?
    Cheers

I hope they haven’t left the 32GB out because Apple have only allocated New Zealand just the 16GB iPhone 4.

    Nope, no way.

Does Vodafone sell prepay iPhones in their stores? I’ve heard even Magnum Mac can’t sell prepay because Vodafone doesn’t let them. Is this true?

  10. @ daniel:
I was in at MagnumMac CHCH today, and they said “There will be a ‘high likelihood’ we’ll have the iPhone 4″.

I mean, they are an Apple “Premium” reseller.

  11. Marko says:

Last year magnum mac had no idea if they would be selling the 3Gs until very late because the talk was all of how vodafone would be selling contract only phones to begin with and prepay later. That didn’t eventuate and haven’t heard any rumour about it for the 4. So I’m guessing they will have them Friday, but they probably don’t know for certain themselves yet.

    Hahahaha. Gold.

    @ camtab:
Vodafone Australia have plans up, although they could be their current ones.
Rogers Wireless in Canada don’t have anything up yet, maybe because it’s 8pm at night..

  15. Topes says:

Yup, I’ll be getting mine for Christmas, as I’m sure the limited stock that will be available at launch date and post launch date for at least 3 months will be zippo after fulling back orders.

  19. camtab says:

The SMH has an article on the Aussie Telcos and their plans for launch and have quoted the Apple will sell the phones unlocked:

    16GB – $859
    32GB – $999

So taking those figures ($859 converted should be $1057 so $1099 not far off) then we can expect the 32GB model to be about $1277 (using the same markup ratio to the straight converted $1229). I suspect they will just go for a $1299
