With the iPhone 4 launch happening this Friday we thought we’d let you know our plans and check to see yours. We also want to give you some links for you to bookmark ahead of time so that on the day you can keep up to date with everything.

Firstly, what we are doing? iPhonewzealand will be at MagnumMac in Christchurch on Moorhouse Avenue from around 6am onwards. We’ll be blogging from there on the day and we’ll be generally hanging around to have a chat with you whilst you wait or after you have made your purchase.
We’ll also have our SIM cutter with us, so those of you that haven’t been able to get a MicroSIM up and running in time will be able to get your current SIM card cut down so you can use it straight away (no responsibility will be taken if your SIM breaks during the cutting process).
Also we want your pictures, wherever you are going to be queuing on the day, we want them. Pictures of you queuing, others queuing, making the purchase, the store you are at, what ever you want, send us your pictures to ‘image @ iphonewzeland.co.nz‘ and we’ll put them into the gallery.
So that’s where we’ll be and what we’ll be up to… but what about you? Let us know below where and when you plan on being on Friday and to help you we have set up the form below which you can fill in. Once you have filled it in your plans will be available for others to see, that way you’ll have an idea of perhaps how many people will be where you are. oh and comment from TokenMaori… I also tweeted Vodafone and they said that MicroSIMS DON'T come with a SIM adaptor.
as still using in iPhone 3G, I did not fully remove from template, so it is size of a mini-sim and no need for adaptor. When I remove and punch out further to make smaller, it will then need an adaptor. I picked up a few adaptors from gomicrosim, so will have with me on Friday if anyone needs one.
