Surprise!
Well, that sure came from nowhere! Available immediately on the App Store is the new Whitcoulls eBook reader and store. The app is free, comes with 5 free classics already loaded, and at first glance pricing of books seems to be reasonable (average is around $15). The app is iPhone / iPod touch-only right now, but an iPad version is promised by the time the device is launched here.
The app coincides with the release of the Kobo, a Kindle-alike eBook reader device which Whitcoulls are now selling in store for $295. We won’t be covering that as, well its not really our thing. But if you want to find out more hit up the links below. Expect a full review of the iPhone app sometime within the next 24 hours, that is unless we get hooked on the latest Mills & Boon.
