iPhone 4, will you be getting one?

I planned on getting one a few months ago. Don’t know what I’m going to do with my 1 year old 3GS. Might sell it or keep it as a spare in case I drop the iPhone 4 in the toilet.

The only thing that interests me in the slightest is the new screen. The rest of it is unexciting and really just playing catch-up. Could I afford one? Yep. Will I be happy with iOS4 on my 3GS? More than likely…….

Definitely getting despite only being 4 months into my contract. The winning feature for me is the addition of UTMS 900 because I'm sick of GSM speed whenever I'm out of Christchurch city. Guess it would be cheaper to just switch to Telecom but not doing that

I just won't be able to afford one. I got a 3G in Sept 08 on prepay (ie, I bought it outright) for about $979. Being out of work now, I simply can't afford over $1000 for a phone. Yes, it would be nice, but far too expensive, when you consider you could buy a decent laptop for the price.

I think my Mrs would kill me if I forked out full price for a new phone so soon after getting my 3GS. (Trying to talk her into having an iPad in the house as well!). I HATE the fact Apple are trying to keep video calling to themselves (i.e no Skype video) and I've got a digital camera that does 720p video so all in all, not really enough in it for me to justify the upgrade at this stage. Will probably wait another year and see what that brings. Now, about that iPad….

Looks cool but I’m not ready yet to spend 800-900$ for it.
If I can sell my 3GS for a decent price I might be tempted but it will have to wait for now.
@MartyMan – I wouldn’t worry about what apple wants to do with the camera. As long as it’s in the phone I’m SURE someone will make use of it outside of the master’s control
