To queue or not to queue, that is the question. After years of “never knowing” I am overcome with information and launch day details haha. I have pre-ordered from Telecom but my gut says to soak up the atmosphere of a carrier who cares.

Already have a pre-order with Apple. If it doesn’t get ticked to “Preparing for shipment” tomorrow I’ll head to Telecom tomorrow morning and see what they have in stock. I’m assuming they won’t have any 64GB.

Vodafone have the same ol’ plans for the original iPhone 4 prices back last July, but also, I saw this;
* No Plan Transfers: From 11 November 2011 any customer buying an iPhone on a Smart plan contract for 24 months will not be able to transfer plans within the 24 month term.
They caught on to the 6 month flaw
They also sent me this on Twitter;

Update from the chill out lounge at telecom… What an an amazing launch function. The lounge is out of this world, music and food is great. Gotta take my hat off to Telecom Event staff. Will try and take a pic and email it to you.
Yes was on iphonewzealand. Dan carter will be handing my 64gb black one a bit later
