iTunes 10.5 is now out of beta and available to download. It seems a bit hit-and-miss as to whether it will pop up on Software Update but going to itunes.com seems to be the best source. The download weighs in at 103MB and you should grab it now in preparation for iOS 5 and all the goodness that has to offer. Enjoy!

Yeah those services (and Music Match) are restricted to the US only at the moment. Apple will need to negotiate with RIANZ to be able to offer that service here.

Apple has already released 10.5.1 beta for developers which apparently has all the tasty icloud stuff,
on another note, anybody tried checking for updates for IOS,
Ive got IOS 5 GM installed on my iphone 4 and when i go to check for updates it tells me it could not check for an update to the carrier settings
I’m on 2 degrees, is this going to be an issue where we will need a vodafone sim to get the latest OS?

Well I managed to find a telecom sim, and that worked to get the carrier settings,
so looks like its just 2degrees thats holding up the process.

I am hoping that all this carrier setting malarkey won’t be an issue with the final version of iOS 5 and that it’ll work fine with any provider. Aren’t they marketing the 4S as a ‘worldphone’ now?

this might be old news but the icloud.com is not live for the public to log on, can only use find my iphone as the other mail etc get message saying to upgrade to ios5.

HELP i have upgraded to Itunes 10.5 now when i plug in my wifes Iphone 3gs it crashes Itunes.
says Itunes has had a unexpected error and will close. when i plug in my Iphone it is fine.
Any ideas???????????
