It's back!
That’s right, NZiDev is back for another year [NZiDev 2.0] but this time it promises to be bigger and better than ever and it’s coming to Auckland on the 3rd and 4th of December.
Last year was a massive success with over 100 iOS developers from all over New Zealand gathering to discuss everything iOS and we had the great pleasure of attending. Unfortunately this year we will not be able to make it, however keep reading to get the low-down on all you need to know about this years event.
No Agenda Necessary
Once again the conference will be run in the unique BarCamp style by (un)conference guru Nathan Torkington. You set the agenda, you run the show. Even though you set the agenda there is still a proposed schedule to keep things running smoothly.
Still run by developers for developers
Driven by the passion of local iOS developers, last year NZiDev covered everything from security and encryption, to start-up myths, marketing and Interface design. This year it is still going to be run by you, the developer and you get to decide the content. Want to know who’s going? Check out the attendees list.
Guest speaker sessions
There are two pre-planned sessions this year; one on Marketing from ‘The Brand Man’, a NZ Marketing legend, and the other on the use of iOS for the blind ‘Let Your Apps Voice Be Heard’ From Jonathon Mosen, an avid blind user of all things apple. Check out their abstracts here.
