Alrighty, so the iPhone 5 release is done and dusted but there is something else to look forward to, the iPad Mini! Carry on reading for some more pictures.
Just like the iPhone 5 there is a lot of rumors flying around, but most sources believe we could be looking at a release in the next few months. Recently, bgr.com published some leaked photos of a possible Mini design.
In this picture you can see that this design has a camera and the new lightning connector.
If you haven’t noticed, I’ve taken a personal liking towards the proposed iPad Mini. As an iPad user I am very excited about the possibility of a new, smaller edition. The screen size is likely to be 7.85 inches, check out my blog from a few weeks ago for all the specs.
I was hoping that the Mini was going to be announced at the same time as the iPhone 5. No luck for me, but hopefully within the next few weeks a date will be announced. There is no confirmation or hints from Apple that the Mini will turn up but I certainly hope so.
The idea of a product between the current iPad and the iPhone is great. The market however, is a little more competitive in the smaller tablet sector with the likes of kindle having a strong influence currently.
When rumors first came out about the iPad Mini, there were reports that the device would not have a retina display. If the Mini does come out in the next few months, I personally will be very interested. But if there is no retina display I cant see it flying out the door like its big brother the iPad.
