I have triple checked your settings for mms on 2 degrees, I have your carrier settings app on my phone and have checked that many times and I have all the settings as you recommend, yet I still cant send photos using MMS. I can receive them no worries.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, has anyone else had issues sending MMS with their iPhone 4 on 2degrees. Its very frustrating not being able to reply to other peoples picture messages, I have to email them.
Cheers

Obviously there isn't a lot of people with this problem as there have been no responses here.
After 3 separate conversations with 2degrees technical support (very helpful I must add), they got me to change the 'MMS Max Message Size' to 300000, not the 614400 that is listed on this site, since then I've been able to send them no worries.
Hope that helps some folks with the same issue.

That's great thanks for that. We'll add that to the manual settings.

I have the same problem on my iPhone 3G, after switching to 2degrees a couple of days ago. After four lengthy calls to 2degrees technical support, I've had to give up. The mms settings have been checked and double checked, I can form an mms message and preview it and start the sending process, but the progress bar indicates things come to a halt 9/10 of the way through the sending process and I get the alert message "Your message was not sent. Tap "Try Again" to send this message". Doing so just repeats the process. The 2degrees techs have even tried sending mms messages to me, I cannot receive them. Tried turning phone on and off again, changing the max message size … They suggested re-installing the OS, I have now installed iOS 4.2.1 and still problem persists. Any suggestions?

I just joined 2 degrees and I am having the same problem. Very much a pain. The technicians also haven't been much help. I ported my number from telecom so maybe that is the issue. I changed to 2degrees due to the service being much better but now it looks like I can't even use it. The mms messages which never sent were also charged and taken off my credit :(

Just spoke to Kelvin from 2 degrees Customer Service and I must congratulate him for his excellent customer service skills. Easy to communicate with and the best customer assistance I have received from any telco company. He is passing the problem on to the technical team so hopefully I can update you guys when I get a response sometime today or tomorrow. Once again thanks Kelvin if your reading this. You deserve a promotion!

Hi Paul, like Booster_13 I found the 2 degrees tech team very good to deal with, very personable, knowledgeable and helpful. However they could not solve the problem. But a couple of days after we had been trying (see my posting above), an mms message from a friend just popped into my inbox. I tried replying with an mms message and that went out ok. To this day I have no idea what changed, I spoke to the tech who had been helping me and he had no idea either, said they had done nothing. One of life's mysteries. So don't give up hope!

Hey Guys,
Just to let you know, what tends to happen is that you need to initiate the mms by sending the first one after you have confirmed all your mms settings and from there forward you should be able to receive mms regardless. This will happen each time you change networks e.g. porting, new sim from different network (new settings)
cheers
