Hello all, I did a quick search but couldn't find anything so hopefully you can help me.

 

My brother is over from Australia, and he recently got an iPhone4, and offered to give me his 3G. I gladly accecpted, but he said it might be (and probably is) locked to his carrier from Australia (Vodafone).

 

What I'm wanting to know is if there is any way I can get this phone unlocked, preferably from New Zealand so i can use it on 2Degrees. Dont mind if I have to jailbreak it or whatever.

Hiya,

I'm in the same situation, being given an iphone 3G that was used in Australia. Did you manage to get it unlocked?
