Adding files to the VLC app on iPad causes pre-sync backup to fail. I left it running for about an hour before killing the backup and continuing with sync. Deleting the avi files I had added to VLC fixed the problem. Pity, because the avi's played really well. Hopefully will be fixed on the next upgrade but in the meantime either delete files before syncing or kill the backup – neither very satisfactory

iPad backp getting slow can really be a pain in the ass. The other day, I tried to create the iPad music backup onto my PC using iTunes and you would not believe, it took me two odd hours to complete the process. The only thing I could do was to sit and wait. From now onwards, I have decided to use any software rather than iTunes for creating iPad backup.
