I am looking on Trade Me at buying an iPhone 4. They all seem to be US ones pretty much, and say they are unlockable using the Gevey Sim. So they will run any 3G Network (I'm on 2degrees prepay). It says just insert your sim card (micro-sim) and away you go. Has anyone else got a US one and used the Gevey Sim? I keep reading that when you reset or update the iPhone you have to reload the Gevey sim or something. Anyone know much about all this? Is it a good idea to buy one of these? As I can't afford a $1400 NZ one lol, and can't afford one on contract either. The guy also wrote on his ad that it comes with a 3mth guarantee on hardware fault. What does that cover? Would appreciate any help. Thanks Smile

You could just get one from the apple store iphone 4 now $899 straight from apple then just get a 2 degreess sim. hows much they asking on trademe?
