I recently upgraded to iOS 4 on a 3GS phone – I have 2 issues & I'm wondering if others are/aren't experiencing them. 1/ When trying to reply to an email the mail app consistently crashes back to the springboard as soon as I hit the reply arrow. 2/ I can't connect to any wifi hotspots that require a redirection to a login screen (ie. CafeNet, Zenbe, hotel, airport) – I can see the network under settings, I can click on the network & it applies a tick next to the network name but it doesn't actually connect & doesn't offer a login page via Safari at all.
My phone is jailbroken so it's possible this could cause some low-level conflict….. but it seems unlikely. I'd love to hear from anyone running iOS 4 who has the same issues, or definitely doesn't have these issues. Thanks in advance.
I ran the same setup as you with absolutely no issues.
If you have 45min available backup all your stuff and install the official ios 4.0.1 than use the new http://www.jailbreakme.com
You should be good to go after. ios 4 runs well on the 3gs so might as well take advantage.

Hey, thanks for that. Good to know that it may be just my system or my particular set-up. I might try re-installing 4.0, I haven't got an IPSW for 4.0.1 (but I guess I could find one), and now that 4.0.2 is out we'll have to be a bit careful (it plugs the jailbreakme hole).
