See the problem with that is that iTunes won't let me sync ATM. When I plug in either the iPad or iPhone iTunes immediately crashes. Very frustrating. Anyone have any ideas?

Yes I have a solution. It involves a flight to the USA, a 2 by 4 and a jailterm for assualt with intent to maim.
Anyway, first check your iTunes is the beta 7 one. Then reset the device (all settings) on the device itself, this will wipe your iPad to a factory state, reinstall the iTunes and try restoring it. This is rather dramatic so consider your choices carefully.
You could also consider copying the backup files for your iPad to another folder "old" and deleting the Cache for iTunes. Basically restoring iTunes to a factory state so it doesn't have to check the iPad against backups.

I just tried IOS 5 Beta 7 on my iPad 2.
All my productivity applications worked fine. However all the entertainment apps we use a lot stopped working [Closes after displaying the initial splash screen] including :
- The NZ Herald app my wife uses
- The Rugby World Cup app that I use all the time
- Disney Pixar Cars 2 that my 4 year old daughter loves (Paid app).
Anyone else confirm this is an issue – Herald and Rugby are very popular apps – so surely I am not alone.
The good thing I like about the Beta is that the Ads are not yet working – so the free Apps with ads are a a joy to use [It just displays a temporary place holder] – should make the most of it before the Ads kicks in when IOS 5 goes Gold!

@bluetoothkiwi – your post needs approval as it's your first (I cannot do that) but in response to it.
RWC one never worked for iOS5, the Herald does work, but it is prone to crashing, particularly upon multi-task resume. I never noticed that about the ads, haha

It is a shame – I love that RWC App.
It is annoying when an app says that it works with 'IOS 4 and higher'. I hope the developers are working on an refresh for IOS in time for the release of the IOS 5 next month. I wonder if App Store is going to delist the ones that don't work with IOS5 (or change IOS5 to make it backward compatible)? It is especially a concerning as some of the apps that stopped working are Paid Apps.
With regards to Herald I switched from Herald to Stuff and TVNZ – though the herald site used to work fine until the IOS 5 upgrade.

Get off Stuff right now! What a foul website, most journalists mess the facts around, Stuff doesn't even bother to hide it. Hopefully Herald will work better on iOS5 RTM

I'm running Beta 7 on both my iphone 4 & ipad 2 and the RWC app works on the iphone but not the ipad, shame as I've seen it running on another ipad using earlier ios and it looks heaps better on the ipad! NZ Herald app works fine on both, as does Stuff. 1st time Ive read such a bad review about Stuff, wouldn't surprise me if it's true.
