I have recently travelled to the USA with 2 iPhone 3gs phones. My wife and I. In the first week one of them stopped working as a phone. A helpful bloke at an AT&T store said that the SIM card was bad and proved it by swapping the card out of the other phone and brough it back to life. We said bugger and continued to use the one phone that worked. Crossing the border from Colorado to Utah and the second phone stopped as well. showing a "no service" message the same as the first one. Nothing we have done has brought it back to life. Has anyone had experience with iPhones "killing" SIM cards?
2 phones in a fortnight seems a bit too much of a coincidence.
Cheers

How old are the SIMs?
I've swapped my SIMs between a lot of iPhone's and have never had any issues. A friend's SIM did die in his iPhone, but the SIM was over 10 years old and dents in it from previous old Nokia phones.
