I have an iphone 4 running ios 4.2.1 I wanted to jailbreak it using greenpois0n RC5 untethered jailbreak but i want feedback from users
who have used that method to jailbreak their devices on how smooth it is and if they did experience any problems with it. Should i wait for more
versions of jailbreak for 4.2.1? or should i go with greenpois0n. Also RC6.1 is out so should i go with that?
Feedback much appreciated guys

Go for the newest release as it has a couple of fixes, I used RC5 and then ran RC6.1 over the top of it when it was released and other than having to reinstall openSSH I have had no problems at all.

RC5 worked fine for me. The only problems I have faced is that some of the apps I use through Cydia are not updated to work with 4.2.1 yet, but most of them are, and also with greenpois0n you can change the boot logo screen but it kept crashing my springboard so I disabled it, they may have fixed that in RC6?
Many waited a long time for this jailbreak, I was running 4.1 until it arrived, then I upgraded to 4.2.1 immediately and jailbroke it same day, I really wanted the free MobileMe Find my iPhone app.

hey guys,
Now that apple are signing 4.3 is there a way to restore 4.2.1 without your shsh files on cydia? The phone's last version was 4.2.1. Its from the UK so it needs an unlock.
