This works on all devices, best to upgrade to 4.1 first (fresh) then jailbreak (obviously don't do this if you rely on a carrier unlock from a jailbreak).

This works on Apple TV 2G but there's no apps for it so relatively useless apart from some fun.

I have done it and it works great. instructions for dfu mode are included in the .exe and cydia is installed through the limera1n app after the device has been jailbroken.

I have an iPhone 4 that I brought in Hong Kong when they first came out. I have been travelling and using it for the last two months, its just great for travel. It was locked to AT & T so I jailbroke it and have been using t- mobile and NZ Telecom sims without any problem until I up dated to OS4.1. The jailbreak using limera1n worked well and Cydia loaded well but I do not have an attivated AT & T sim. The phone came with an AT & T sim and no contract and I have not been able to attivate the sim from NZ. Is there anyway of unlocking without an AT & T attivated sim. I have Telecom and t-mobile working sims.

Also what modem firmware should it be on as it has changed from 1.59…… to 02.10.04 with the update.

Hey everyone, I'm new to this stuff of jailbreaking (a basic grasshopper). So my Iphone is  3gs 4.1 MC Model with vodafone (contract). Can i use this program to jailbreak it? if not what should i use?
