Hello folks,

I've got a slight problem I'm hoping for some advice on.  I have a 3G that is locked to Telstra AU.  I want to unlock this in order to use the device with Telecom XT.  I've been doing some research and I've hit a brick wall due to a couple of reasons:

  • The information is out of date and no longer applies

OR

  • I require the correct SIM so I can activate the device

I have jailbroken a 3G before about 18 months ago but as I understand it the process has changed slightly.

My question to the iphonewzealand community is this:  Is it possible to activate my iPhone 3G without the correct SIM and if so, how do I go about doing this?

Thanks

Marv.
