Gudday all. Wonder if anyone can recommend an iPad 2 repairer in Auckland?
My 4 year old son dropped the iPad 2 and the volume button now only works at 100%! Ouch! I can't lower the volume at all (unless I watch a video)! and then it creeps right back up to 100%!
iPad 2 was purchased in the USA and bought back to NZ so not sure if warranty is applicable. Thoughts?
Cheers,
Matt

I'd ring apple care international and tell them your situation as honestly as possible. I suspect they will be very accommodating. Prepare to be surprised. If you don't like what they tell you, you can always continue your quest to find a repairer. The number is 00 800 76667666
All the best!

I'm not sure if this will help but, on the iPhone, if you double tap the home button for the app switcher bar then swipe to go left you get iPod controls. If you swipe to go left again you get volume control.
Might be a short term solution if it works.

If you have a good contents policy then it should be covered for accidental damage.

Apple Warranty will not cover accidental damage and as your insurance will charge your arranged excess payment.
Whatever works out more economical for you, search madmacman.com for iPad volume/sleep/mute button repair.
