Okay, what's the general consensus at this point? 4 or 3gs? I'm still deciding which to get. My 3gs was great until in got run over. Which to go for now?

I've got both and the 3GS just feels more robust and less fragile. The iPhone 4 screen is bloody amazing though…

The iPhone 4 has many advantages over the iPhone 3GS, but I can't think of any advantages the iPhone 3GS has over the iPhone 4 that aren't solved with a (free) case. Get the iPhone 4!

The only issues really were the antenna (fixed with free case) and the proximity sensor (fixed with iOS 4.1). Don't let the mainstream media mass hysteria machine put you off buying the best phone ever made.

Just got my iPhone 4 to replace 3G, get the iPhone 4, it makes the 3G feel like a fisher price phone! the screen is mental, camera is great and its speed is fantastic. Well worth the money and the wait.

Thanks, that's what I wanted to hear and I have now ordered my iphone 4, which is due to arrive at the end of the month. How accurate are the shipping/delivery dates from the Apple Store?

To get the free case you have to download the Apple Free Case Program app to your iPhone 4 and then order it through there.

Wow, Damn, that's slow! When first setting up the iphone 4, is it best to set it as a new phone or do a restore from old 3gs phone? If I set it as a new phone, how do I Bring across music/ contacts from previous 3gs setup?

just got my iphone 4. Some texts I don't seem to be receiving? I'm on VF. Could this be a network issue rather than phone? Please say it is.
