Tiled Maps lets you take your maps beyond the boundaries of cellphone coverage and avoid hideous data roaming charges. Using the TMS standard for map tiles and iTunes document sharing to load your map packs you can go for a wander and know where you are at all times. With Tiled Maps you can choose to show your location on the maps and even rotate the maps to match the way you're facing (requires an iOS device with a digital compass). This is great for people who like to feel "in the map" rather than always have north locked to "up". It's designed for both iPhones and iPads and right now it's only $1.29 NZD.
