I've seen your webapp (http://iphonenewzealand.co.nz/…..-carriers/) which looks really good, but on the TelstraClear page it has the Internet Tethering section with the APN being "www.telstraclear.net.nz".
Now, on my iPhone 3Gs (with iOS 4), under Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data Network I don't see an Internet Tethering section at all, all I see is headings for Cellular Data & MMS, then the Reset Settings button.
I am currently on Vodafone, but will be transferring to TelstraClear shortly and want to make sure this will still work for me. Is the Internet Tethering section hidden until I'm off the Vodafone network? I notice that on your Vodafone NZ Carrier settings page you list it as well.

edit: On top of the above, I have also found this PDF on the TC website which insinuates it's not available, and that is the same emphatic response I've had from TC on the phone as well.

Ah of course…. I will need to update the web app.
Unfortunately this is one of the limitations of a carrier using Vodafone as their provider. Because the Telstra SIM (and CallPlus/Black+White) uses the Vodafone bundle, when it is updated (i.e via a user changing the APN) you lose the ability to Tether.
This doesn't happen on XT/2Degrees or any of XT's MVNO's
I will update the web app now….. sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.

Does this mean that we can tether with Telstra, or that we can't?
