There are three iPhones in our house, all of them 32GB 3GS running firmware 3.13. Two were broken on Windows XP using a custom firmware created with Pwnage 3.1.5 on Mac. The other one was Jailbroken using Snowbreeze 1.5.2 because it came with baseband 5.12.01. Because the other two were jailbroken at different times, one is on baseband 5.11.07 and the other has 4.26.08.
I hve installed Vodafone and XT carrier bundles on all and everything went well, except the oldest phone (on baseband 4.26.08) does not have the XT logo on the status bar when an XT Sim card is put in. It's not the SIM cards because I've swapped them between phones and the logo appears on the other phones. The carrier bundle seems to have installed everything else correctly because internet tethering is now available and it wasn't prior to carrier bundle install. The phone that has no logo was upgraded from firmware 3.0.1 and I think that's probably why it's baseband is still 4.26.01 but it still has the same custom firmware 3.1.3 as the other phone on baseband 5.11.07.
I've looked at carrier bundle folders on the phones (privatevarmobileLibraryCarrier Bundles) and the Telecom carrier bundle has created the same folders on each phine (23402,23410,23411,53005 & Telecom_nz.bundle) and as far as I can see the logo files are in each of the folders. Each folder has two png files (FSO_CARRIER_Telecom New Zealand.png & Default_CARRIER_Telecom New Zealand.png).
I still don't get any XT logo on the phone with baseband 4.26.01.As far as I can see these are the only differences with the phones that have the logo, all other settings are the same. Don't really want to restore unless I know the cause of the issue because I might get the same result.
It's only an aesthetic thing but I'd appreciate any help about getting the XT logo to appear on status bar. Thanks.
