I got my phone activated, and I put in all the APN settings etc. but if I'm off Wi-Fi I cannot access the internet. All it says is 'Could not activate cellular data network'. I've tried resetting the settings, taking out the SIM card and putting it back in, but it doesn't work. I'm on the $1 a day plan I think
I don't know if this is a new feature in 4.1 but the 3G symbol no longer appears next to the carrier name also. XT is a complete 3G network isn't? it?

Go to settings>general>network and enable 3G. Make sure data is switched on too. Telecom is a 3G only network.

Hi,
I have been having this problem as well. 3G and cellular data are both switched on and I've entered the carrier settings several times. It seems that my phone is not remembering the APN settings after I leave that screen. I've tried resetting and no luck. Any suggestions?
