I have an XT micro sim in my iPad on a pre pay plan.
How do I check my data usage given that I can't use a cellphone to dial up for this info. Is there a way to check it online, or an app perhaps, to monitor the usage, or both?
Also, how do I get the XT logo in the top left corner of the screen, instead of "Telecom" half showing. I have read about using the Telecom bundle to achieve this, but can't find any instructions or a link to it. Is there a way to do it manually?
Just so you know, for both these questions I couldnt remmeber the links, s googled them
"How to get data usage on XT" and "XT Carrier Bundle Manual settings" or something like that. Google is quicker than I am :-)

Actually, you currently *can't* check your data usage on Telecom without calling in on 0800 32 32 32.
This is because to use the online check – you need a password which is sent via a TXT message to your "mobile"… but of course, the iPad SIM card can't receive a TXT msg – so you can't get a password.
I have spoken to Telecom Internet customer services reps, and they are aware of this issue, and Telecom is trying to come up with a solution.
Until then, the only option is to phone in manually.

I just put my microsim into my R100 (waiting for my iPhone 4! its TERRIBLE!) and got the txt message with the password then took it back out :)
