Has anyone else had any problems with their iphone 4 not receiving text messages? This has just started happening over the past two days. Or can anyone tell me whether it would be a fault with the phone or simcard/network?

Well this kind of problem may occur due to several reasons. Chances are that your message box is full and therefore the incoming sms get rejected. Another cause can be the due to the network. You can check the network and try to send a message to one of your friend. Check if the message is delivered. If no then the network is weak and causes message loss. Corruption in the iPhone Memory is another problem but it is serious than others. You can solve this problem by taking iPhone backup and then restore iPhone to its factory settings. This will remove the problem. Then again restore those items that you want on your iPhone.

Thanks for your message, It was actually caused by a text message i had received from the UK that hadnt come through and was causing all of my other incoming text messages to not come through. When the network provider deleted the UK message the other 29 messages came through. Very strange

Yes you are right!
It is due to the UK text that is stopping other txt's being sent through. I had the same problem….there is no way of fixing it…Telecom are useless. I couldn't handle it anymore, went to vodafone on prepay and they are great! I get all texts no matter what country they are from….telecom just lost another client!…GO TO VODAFONE PEOPLE until telecom sort their shit out.
