Hi there, is there any way for us to view the TWorld WAP page on our iPhone? I liked it as a means of checking account balance info etc. I know I can dial *333 but sometimes like to use a non call based method.
thanks

If you have installed our carrier bundle then there is a bookmark in Mobile Safari and also a link under Settings>>Phone>>Telecom NZ Services that will take you to "Your Telecom" so you can see your account details.

For general TWorld you can go to http://pdaportal.telecom.co.nz

I will update the carrier bundles with the pdaportal as soon as I can (I actually thought it was there already)

NOTE:At this stage TWorld/Your Telecom is only available through a mobile data connection (i.e not Wi-Fi)

Cheers

Dan

Thanks Dan. Two BIG thumbs up.
Embarassed
Embarrassed that I had never actually noticed the bookmark in there. Goes to show that I rely on the url automatically completing when I begin to type them.

I guess I just have to turn WiFi off when I am inside one of my networks in order for it to use the cellular data? Now all we need is for a WiFi on/off icon on my home page (as the android users can have)

If you were jailbroken you could install SBSettings which has a toggle for WiFi on/off, just a swipe across the top bar away.

You can txt bal to 333 for your current balance.

(Untested on XT)

Im sorry to reply to such an old topic but does anyone actually know how to get BAL to 333 to work on an iPhone? I've tried to send it and it just keeps failing to send..

Worked fine for me just then. Perhaps you are affected by the XT outage?

Make sure you text "333" and not "*333"

If you have the XT carrier bundle installed, It should be there under Your Telecom (3G Only) in your Safari Bookmarks.
