I use Compass Communications as my mobile provider, they use the Voda network, I would like to change the voicemail number shortcut, so as it dials Compass, at present when I use voicemail, comes back with, 'this number is inactive'.
I have tried the suggested (*5005*86* Your telco voicemail number #), with no luck.
Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Hi Zane – unfortunately that code no longer works and there is no alternative method of changing the number. Only thing I can suggest is that you save the correct number in your contacts and dial it from there.

I'm in the same boat on this one, except I'm with Telstra. I had understood that the Voicemail number is set as part of the carrier profile, and that you could modify the carrier profile to update this number. Is there any chance of getting a vodafone carrier profile, or failing that a carrier profile that is specific to Telstra? Or should I go and bug Telstra about it?

Correct.. the voicemail number is set as part of the carrier bundle and when you create a custom bundle you can choose which number you use. A custom vodafone bundle won't allow you to change the number, it has to be done when the bundle is created.
We don't have a Telstra or Compass bundle. They would need to ask us to create one, unless they want to create one themselves.
