Husband's company are with Vodafone and he's been given a new iP4 and had his old Telecom number moved over (he preferred being with T'com but they insisted he needed to upgrade and get on their plan).
First handset worked fine for phone and txt, but couldn't get on the 3G network (no online stuff working). Vodafone blamed the handset and he sent it back. A week later, new handset, same problem.
Vodafone no help – say they don't know what the issue is.
It's not a signal problem.
Enable 3G is ON. Cellular Data is ON. I've checked all the Cellular Data Network settings, and they are the same as the manual settings shown on this site.
Keep thinking (hoping) we must be missing something really simple… any ideas?

Have you tried a different SIM from a different account or prepaid (either Voda, Telecom or 2degrees)? It could ber the actual SIM is fine but there is a code missing from the account that is causing an issue.

Yes sounds like a VF tech needs to look at the account set up their end
