Hello everybody.

I recently arrived in Nelson for 2 week trip. Data was working for the first 2 days 9-10th of May although it was slower than usual in welly. Then it suddenly cut out and now I don't get any data while 3G is active. If I turn it off, I start receiving emails and push notifications again when only on 2G. Has anyone experienced anything like this before?

3G data doesn't work either when I put it in my iPad2 where it used to work before. XT sim works in both, works beautifully although it is only a prepaid one and i don't want to eat up the credit on it too much.

Signal strength is the same on both Voda and XT. Calls and TXTs are not affected.

iPhone 4 4.3.1 JB. bought on the first day of launch on the Smart1 plan. I haven't installed any JB apps that mess with the radios or my connection.

I called Voda, and their rep told me to "reset all settings". I did but nothing changed about the data access.

Thank you for reading Cry

Tony

Corrupted SIM would be my guess. Get Vodafone to replace it.
