I just had my iPhone replaced after a meltdown of stupid proportions. Now, I'm looking to restore my neat little Vodafone logo to replace the ugly "VodaNZ". I searched the site, then searched Google, and was directed to a 404 error.
Has it been scrapped?

It was removed because there is literally no use to the bundle, except cosmetics. The more bundles there are the harder it is to maintain.
I have installed this bundle and while the carrier icon now shows the Vodafone logo there is no tethering option in the network settings. I'm guessing there is more to it than just installing the carrier bundle? I'm running a first gen iPhone which is both jail broken and unlocked. I'm running version 3.0 (7A341) with modem firmware 04.05.04_G. Any suggestions of what step I have overlooked?

Tethering is only available on iPhone 3G or 3GS. The 1st Generation iPhone doesn't have this option unless you Jailbreak.

Yes, as I said in my post, my phone is jail broken but that alone does not appear to add the tethering option. My question is how to add it?

Sorry ukoda we can't help you with that. When we say the carrier bundle allows tethering what we mean is that it allows it on phones that officially support tethering. In the past, when we launched our custom Vodafone bundle it broke tethering, so even the 3G and 3GS couldn't tether with our bundle loaded. That has now been fixed and if your phone can tether, this bundle won't stop you. What it *doesn't* do is add tethering functionality to models that don't support that function out of the box.
