Hi All

For those of you with limited Vodafone coverage in your building / home, then this might be the option for you.  This is the rebranded Femtocell product.

Basically, IF YOU HAVE minimal 3G coverage at home (although on Wikipedia it says no coverage http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Femtocell) , then you plug this into your Vodafone broadband and it will increase 3G network within a 40 or 80 metre radius (see details and link below).

From today, 20 January 2011, Vodafone will launch Sure Signal, a device which boosts the 3G mobile signal indoors.

Benefits Include:

  • Boosts the 3G signal throughout your home or office
  • Easy to install – plug and play and connects to your Vodafone fixed broadband line.
  • 14-day money-back guarantee
  • The Zero rating of Fixed Line Data used by the Sure Signal device will launch mid February 2011

There are 2 versions of the Sure Signal device:
1. Vodafone Sure Signal $349 (incl. GST) – Boosts the 3G signal throughout a house by up to 20 meters and allows up to four people to be on their mobiles or vodem at the same time.
2. Vodafone Sure Signal Enterprise $899 + GST – Boosts the 3G signal throughout a house by up to 40 meters and allows up to 8 people to be on their mobiles or vodem at the same time

Requirements

  • Vodafone Fixed Line Broadband connection with a speed of at least 1Mbps.
  • A 3G mobile phone for each person using Sure Signal.

Actually you don't, it's called choice, it's entirely up to you.  You can either wait until the coverage improves, or you can knock the walls out of a premise because the signal can't into the building or you can change providers to someone who has 100% full strength coverage, see simple.

I presume you work for vodafone. No what I want is what I pay for, something that just works. In regards to choice my phone is a company one so no I can't change providers and I refuse to be one if these retards who makes life difficult by carrying around 3 phones each on a different network so everyone has to remember which number to call or text to get the best rate at certain times of the day.
