Just wondering what people are using in there cars for your iPhones? At the moment Im using the headphone jack into the aux in on my headdeck, but need something for handsfree calling – would rather have one unit rather than buying a seperate handfree device.
I am looking for a headdeck that plugs into the iPhone and handles handsfree calling and audio, without using bluetooth.
Have heard of afew that plug into the iPhone for audio but still use bluetooth for handsfreee calling or vise versa.
Saw a headdeck on the back of a magazine the other day that showed an iPod in behind the faceplate, but cant remember the brand or weather it works with iPhone for calling
Cheers guys

I have my iPhone connected to my car stereo via aux-in, and a separate bluetooth speakerphone thingy on my visor. Works great — especially in that you can use the speakerphone to control the music. You just reach up to your visor and press the button on the speakerphone and Voice Control kicks in and you tell it what music to play. Music fades out when calls are received and calls can be routed either through the car stereo or through the speakerphone. Despite being two units it all works seamlessly. I find that calls are easier to listen to when they are coming out of the speaker on the bluetooth thingy than when they are being played over the stereo as the EQ on that is optimised for music (lots of bass!) rather than voices, and the speakerphone is the other way round.
