My original laptop died and has been replaced with a new laptop.

I have installed the latest version of iTunes on the new laptop. I then transferred my music library in from a backup.

My next step was going to be transferring some new songs to my iPhone 4, but was unable to .

I then got the "Erase and Sync message" – does this erase all info e.g. contacts, photos, as well as music, videos and apps from my iPhone?

Is there an easy way to transfer without losing all my apps and information?
