Accessory review: Haul’s cases are awesome rubbish
So: you’ve got your iPad 3G, you’ve stuffed it to the gills with apps and are you’re a real pro at the on-screen keyboard, so now you want to take it out with you and show it off. What you need now is a sleeve or folio for it, but being the fashionista that you are, you don’t want to dress it in just anything: you want something that’s unique. And being conscious of your impact on the environment, you want something that’s eco-friendly, too. If you think your order is too tall, think again.
Haul are an Australian-based company that take recycled or found waste such as vinyl billboards, rubber printing blankets and even old tyre inner-tubes and turn them into wonderful, colourful and extremely desirable objets d’art. iPhone 4: Antennagate in New Zealand [video]
When the iPhone 4 was announced I (like pretty much everyone else) couldn’t wait to get my hands on one, until one day the news hit that there was an issue with the antenna. I’ll admit I was worried, what would i do now? Would this affect me? And then after reading about it for months and seeing Steve Jobs’ response I settled down and decide it probably wasn’t going to be an issue. I won’t go into all the details of AntennaGate but just in case you’ve been on holiday to the moon or mars for the past few months and haven’t heard about it then have a read here.

When I got my first iPhone one of the things I loved is that it came with a dock. iPhone sat there all shiny and cool looking. Unfortunately the 3G and 3GS didn’t come with one, so the first accessory I bought was the dock. However I found that I never really used the dock as I had a case and would have to take it out to be able to use it (I didn’t use a case for my 1st gen).
So now I have an iPhone 4 and after seeing all the images and videos of it I decided that I wouldn’t be using a case (or did I) so I got myself the iPhone 4 dock.

Encore review: official Apple iPad case (updated + video)
When we first published this review back in June, the iPad in New Zealand was a distant dot on the horizon. Now that it’s here and more relevant to many of you, we thought we’d do an encore posting with some updates.
When I first got my iPad, and I’m sure many of you are the same, I felt it needed some kind of protection. As you may or may not have seen I went out and bought myself a Logitech case from Noel Leemings for $40.
Now, after I don’t know how long of waiting, I finally have my hands on the official iPad case from Apple.

Vodafone: iPhone 4 stock sold out
Those of you hoping to get your hands on an iphone 4 today are now out of luck. Vodafone just tweeted “^PB All iPhone4 stock sold out. More stock coming soon.”
Clearly the low supply levels are what led to this mornings debacle, seeing Vodafone only want to sell to its on-account customers. Clearly Apple didn’t supply Vodafone with enough stock and Vodafone didn’t supply their customers with enough details. Fail on both fronts really.
So sorry for all those that missed out, it looks like there will be another wait. How long that wait will be is anyone’s guess. Maybe Vodafone could let us know.
