January 27th

As you may have read on TUAW, Engadget, or Gizmodo this morning, Apple has confirmed January 27th as the date for their much rumoured event.

With the sub-title “Come see our latest creation” and the invite being splattered with paint there is a lot of speculation around what this means. Whatever it means you can bet we are more than likely to see the tablet, and new iPhone OS, maybe even a new iPhone will be announced.

It doesn't want to charge whilst using any of these!

Ok so recently I went on a trip from Christchurch to Dunedin, the perfect opportunity for me to play with my TomTom car kit and really give the tun-by-turn apps a run for their money…. or so I thought.

Having Issues?

Now I am sure there are a lot of people who just got their iPhone so continuing on with our iPhone Basics posts (it’s been a while since we did one) we thought we’d give people the heads-up on the differences between Lock, Shut Down, Force Quitting and Resetting your iPhone. You’d be surprised to know how many people don’t know how to turn their phone completely off. When we say ‘Switch off’ or ‘reboot’, we mean completely off, not “locking” the phone where you simply press the Sleep/Wake button on the top of your phone. Below is an iPhone Basics on this and also how to force quit apps and do a soft reset.
