Apple have just released iBooks 1.2 and with the update comes a few nice enhancements such as printing PDF’s (if you have an Airplay printer), Organising your books and PDFs into personal Collections and you can now get fully illustrated books…. well that’s assuming you’re not on the NZ store. You see unfortunately one of those enhancements is not an update to the NZ iBookstore, meaning the content is still just as bad as the day it launched.…

As you may or may not know when a developer wants to give away a free copy of his ‘paid-for’ app they have to give you a promo code and up until now those promo codes have been for the US store only.

As of yesterday this has all changed and devs can now give out promo codes for any country not just the US. This is great news for users when we run a giveaway on the site as we can now offer New Zealand store promo codes, meaning you no longer have to set up a US account just to get a free copy of an app.…
