So we said once we got a response about the TomTom car kit charging issue we would let you know. Well here it is, the “official” response from TomTom. Now sit down, get a coffee and be prepared for a bit of a read as this may take a while….

Ok so recently I went on a trip from Christchurch to Dunedin, the perfect opportunity for me to play with my TomTom car kit and really give the tun-by-turn apps a run for their money…. or so I thought.

After months of impatient waiting with little chance of seeing the Tomtom car kit hit the New Zealand retail market anytime soon, I decided to source one via the UK.
